Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. The inaugural Red Nose Day is today in the US, May 21st, 2015. People across the country will come together to have fun and raise funds and awareness.

Nearly 20% of American children live in poverty

Muslimat Al Nisaa believes in a just world free from poverty. We reach out to the homeless, those in rural areas and those living in city slums. During the month of Ramadan we are committed to feed as many impoverished families as possible. Fasting makes us deeply conscious of the pangs of hunger and discomfort suffered by the less fortunate among our brethren, who may have to put up with such stringent conditions all through their lives. Thus it kindles in man a spirit of SACRIFICE leading to CHARITY towards his suffering brethren.

Money raised during the Red Nose Day campaign will help us make a difference.
